October 3, 2019 Anna Ilyina, a candidate for participation in Olympics 2020, who is a 2d year student at the second (master's) level of education in the specialty "Philosophy" of the Subfaculty of History and Philosophy, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky won a silver medal in the 7th World Games amongst military personnel taking place in the Chinese city of Wuhan.

October 23, 2019, the Korean Autumn International Educational and Cultural Event was held at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, dedicated to the expansion of Ukrainian-Korean cooperation in the field of education and culture and held with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea. The students of Ushynsky University, as well as the students of Odesa schools where Korean is studied, participated in the Korean Speech Competition. During the concert program, the students of the Odesa Regional Federation Tek Wando demonstrated their skills.

September 27-29, 2019 in Chornpmorsk, Odesa region, there was held the competition for men and women in sports and combat sambo. The competition has been attended by over 300 athletes from 20 regions. For the first time since the Independence of our country, Odesa has taken on the national adult sambo championship!

October 18, 2019, the representatives of Ushynsky University took part in a city-wide promotional action in the premises of Odesa Maritime Station for the presentation of specialties to high school students of general secondary education and their parents.

The students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky Tan Tzinhao (Senior Teacher O.A.Mamykina) and Lai Te (Teacher Class A.A.Hodot) won the Grand Prix in different age categories of the Indigo Factor vocal festival, which took place on September 28, 2019 in Odesa. Students Tetyana Kazakova and Lyudmila Kurolesov (the class of the senior teacher O.A.Mamykina) became the winners of the second prize.

October 19, 2019 Vladyslav Perepelitsa, the student of Ushynsky University won the first place in the international competitions for the Tewando Cup of Romania, held on in Bucharest.

October 15, 2019, at the Faculty of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, a festive fair “Kozak does not eat but feeds guests” was held on the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks.
