On October 30, 2020, the Department of Mathematics and Methods of Teaching at Ushynsky University held an online seminar on the topic: "Implementation of specialized training in the context of reforming school mathematics education."

On October 24, 2020, the Odesa Region Sports Aerobics Championship was held. The students of the educational and scientific institute of physical culture of sports and rehabilitation Pilnevych Maria, Bundziak Sofia, and Fadeeva Anastasia have taken part in the competition.

On October 23, 2020 for the first time a public defense of a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy was held at Ushynsky University, the Faculty of Music and Choreography. The dissertation has been defended by a citizen of China Zhou Ye on the topic "Designing piano training of future music teachers to form the artistic and emotional experience of students",

On October 21, 2020, the Department of Preschool Pedagogy of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky held an online seminar on "Implementation of the right to academic mobility." The students of the Faculty of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology of Ushynsky University have taken part in the seminar. The event has been organized by the Head of the Department of Preschool Pedagogy, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Olexii Anatoliyovych Lystopad.

On August 20-30, 2020, the Festival "Together in the 21st century" was held in Bulgaria, the founder of which is the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Bulgaria. Due to restrictive measures in connection with the coronavirus, the festival was held online. This year, the project "Together in the 21^st century" celebrated its 20th anniversary and brought together participants from Israel, the United States, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, Georgia, Russia, Germany, and Turkey. Each day of the festival program was dedicated to the culture of individual countries. The Day of Ukraine together with other groups was represented by students of Ushynsky University vocal ensemble "Constellation" under the direction of Professor Kyon N.G.
