September 27, 2019 at the Odessa City Garden the Educational and Cultural Center “Confucius Institute” celebrated for the sixth time the International Day of the Confucius Institutes, which was attended by students and lecturers of Ushynsky University, teachers and students of leading education institutions, Chinese language learners, representatives of the Chinese Diaspora, the media, as well as guests and residents of South Palmyra.

September 24, 2019, the art project “The Danube History or the Game of Beads” was presented by a creative team from Vinnitsa to students and lecturers for the first time in Ukraine. The musical accompaniment of the lecture-presentation has been performed by the group "Reed Cat".

September 21, 2019, the first meeting of the "Professional Union of Pedagogical Workers of Odesa Region" was held at State Institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky".

September 20 - 21, 2019, the Department of Mathematics and Methods its Teaching of the State Institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky" held the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference with international participation "Succession in the teaching of mathematics in the conditions of reform of the general secondary education: reality and perspectives”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Department of Mathematics and Methods of its teaching and the 100th anniversary of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics.

Within the framework of the Olympic week, a meeting with Chumak Volodymyr Mykhailovych, the reigning Volleyball World Champion among veterans of sport, was held.

September 7-8, 2019, the Educational and Cultural Center “Confucius Institute” of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky presented its activities, educational and cultural programs at the Green Theater in Odesa.
