March 4, 2021 the teachers of the Department of Music and Choreography, Ph.D. Professor O.Ye. Rebrova, Ph.D. Prof.essor G.Yu. Nikolay, Associate Professor I.I. Hertz (developer of the Standard in 024 Choreography) took part in the First All-Ukrainian scientific-practical seminar-workshop "Implementation of the State Standard of Higher Education in specialty 024 Choreography".

An open lecture by Olena Leon (Sweden) on "The system of music education of schoolchildren in Sweden" took place at Ushynsky Universit, the Faculty of Music and Choreography. The meeting was organized by the Department of Music and Vocal Theory for graduate and undergraduate students of various specialties. Olena Leon is a former graduate of the Music and Pedagogical Faculty of Ushynsky University. She has been working in the Swedish secondary education system for more than twenty years, is a leading practitioner, a teacher of music, mathematics, Swedish and Russian, and the author of textbooks. Olena Leon acquainted the audience with the peculiarities of Swedish school education, which is based on the principles of democracy and child-centeredness. The basic provisions of the organization of art education, types of art classes and ways of artistic and creative development of children were also covered.

On March 1, 2021 in the exhibition halls of the World Club of Odesa at the exhibition of paintings of the People's Artist of Ukraine Albin Stanislavovich Gavdzinsky there was held a scientific and practical seminar for students of the Faculty of Graphic Arts.

The organizers were Anna Nosenko and Natalia Loza.

Future artists-teachers had the opportunity to study in detail the landscape sketches-impressions presented at the exhibition, in which each canvas almost "breathes" saturated with moisture, dynamic light and air environment and to analyze "how it was created". The seminar became the basis for the successful completion of the summer training (artistic and creative) practice PLENER.

The Faculty of Arts and Graphics congratulates Ksenia Isidorova (a 3-year student majoring in 023 Fine Arts, Decorative Arts, Restoration) and her mentor Dmytro Oleksandrovych Velychko on her victory in the All-Ukrainian Distance Multi-Genre Art Competition "Winter Fun".

Under this name on February 15, 2021 at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky there was held a round table in a remote format, which was attended by the teachers of the Department of Theory and Methods of Practical Psychology (coordinators: Associate Professor T.M. Lazorenko and senior lecturer O. Yu. Kosyanova) and students under the educational-professional program "Psychology" of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education.

During the round table such problematic issues were considered as: psychological state of a person during a pandemic; the impact of media information on the psyche of people during the pandemic; mental consequences in people with COVID-19; the role of the psychologist in overcoming postcovid mental states.

The newly established Medical Faculty of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky is making its first confident steps on the path of its development, in particular to ensure the quality of the educational process, career guidance work with entrants.

At the meeting with the entrants, Professor A.I. Bosenko spoke about the interesting historical facts of the formation of the medical faculty and the work of the above department, and wished success in the professional choice of youth. Professor L.Y. Kovalchuk told about the peculiarities of studying in the specialties of the medical faculty. Deputy Dean, Associate Professor T.M. Oslavska acquainted the present high school students with the new rules of admission to the university in 2021.

On February 27, 2021, on the basis of Odesa Specialized Music School named after Professor P.S. Stolyarsky, a meeting of graduate students of the Department of Music Art and Choreography of Ushynsky University with a stakeholder Chernoivanenko Alla Dmytrivna, Professor of Odesa National Music Academy named after A.V. Nezhdanova took place.

For graduate students of Ushynsky University, this interesting meeting took place within the framework of scientific and pedagogical practice. The general director of the festival Halyna Skopa also shared with the applicants her own professional experience in organizing such events
