On May 15-16, the 16th Summer Universiade of Ukraine in Taekwondo took place in Ivano-Frankivsk. According to the results of the competition, the team from our city took 3rd place in the overall standings. The competition was attended by students of the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation, who specialize in the Department of Gymnastics and Martial Arts.

On May 15, 2021 at the Faculty of Music and Choreography there was held a public defense of the dissertation "Methods of preparing future teachers of music for the formation of national culture of schoolchildren by means of folk songs" for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in 01 Education / Teachers by specialty: Secondary education (subject specialty: Music). The dissertation has been defended by Chen Han, a Chinese citizen.
On April 14, 2021 Dadyna Olehivna Derkaxh, a master's student at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Ushynsky University, took part in the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the specialty 035 "Philology" (specialization: 035.04 "Germanic languages (English, German)") and received a diploma in the category "creative approach to the analysis of empirical material."

Petinova, for the implementation of the agreement on the educational-scientific program of training doctors of philosophy of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education in specialty 033 Philosophy, from Party 2 is O.V. Halapsis, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities.
May 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration held a binary lesson on "Management of the district in the city on the example of Primorsky district" in the discipline "State Building and Local Government". Classes for students majoring in 281 Public Administration and Administration were conducted by the Deputy Head of the Primorsky District Administration of Odesa Skopa Olexander Olexandrovych.
Students had the opportunity not only to learn about the peculiarities of district management in the city, but also to talk to the employer's representative about the problems and prospects of local government in decentralization, the specifics of local government officials and more.
